Installing a theme*:
Your basic theme consists of two parts; a layout (.xml file) and a background image. Copy both to \Application Data\Home. On your Q Select Settings then Home Screen. Change the Home screen layout to the new theme. Make sure that Color scheme and Background image are both set to default. Press Done twice to return to your new home screen.
If your background does not show up:
In some cases the background image may need to go somewhere else. In the .xml file look for the following line:
<background bgimage="\windows\sprint_wallpaper.jpg" valign="bottom" bgcolor="COLOR_TRAYGRADLEFT" />
Notice that the default Sprint theme calls for the background file to be located in \Windows.
*If what you downloaded was a .cab file then you need to put it somewhere on your Q like \My Documents or \Storage Card. Use File Explorer to find the file then open it on your Q. A .cab file is an installer that will put the files where they belong. Change the Homescreen layout the same way I instructed above.
