i did the update and noticed no major upgrades. one site set the battery will last about 10% longer. i had also heard it might add MMS functionality, but it doesnt. I was able to install some software titles that i couldnt before (without unlocking it anyways). But again no major noticable changes. If you have already application unlocked your phone and have it just how you like plus you dont want to take the multi-hour task of restoring to how you like than it simply isnt worth it.
