.k. it's the AM and checking Memory Manager now shows:
Card Storage: 3.78GB
Used: 3.73GB
Free: 57.16MB
It's mostly audio, one compressed movie, and a couple Word files. I can open and play everything perfectly

So much for the myth of the non-functioning 4GB card in the Motorola Q...
A post from the qusers.com forums...dont know if its true but dont see why someone would tell false tales of something as petty as an SD card...lol anyways i ordered one and it will be in my store tommorrow.
