SMS/MMS charges for Yahoo GO! | | Hello,
I am a new Verizon customer and a new owner of the Q. Just today I downloaded and installed the Yahoo GO! application. It seems like a great applicaiton, but after reading some other forums on the internet, I'm concerned that Yahoo GO! uses SMS and MMS (TXT messaging) to send/receive emails. I have an unlimited data plan, but I have to pay for TXT messaging. Can anyone confirm whether or not there are any SMS or MMS charges (TXT messaging) while using the Yahoo GO! application.
Does it use MMS to download/send emails?
Or does it just use data access?
I know at least once when you set it up, it sends an SMS to log your device into yahoo.
Thanks,
Tim
