Hi - I'm new here, and I followed your thread to create my own ringtones, but my phone still isn't using them.

They automatically showed up under documents and settings, so I move them to My Documents, yet my phone still doesn't use them. They are mp3's, and I created them thru Myxer. Any help you could provide would be great.

Update:
I searched the forum and tried the solution below, and now it works for all my incoming calls:

So here is what you do.

1. Connect your Motorola Q to your desktop PC running ActiveSync.
2. Click on Explore
3. Navigate to: My Windows Mobile-Based Device\Application Data\Sounds
4. Drag and Drop the WMA or MP3 file in question (hit okay when you see thr prompt).
5. Now, on your Motorola Q, hit Start>Settings>Sounds
6. Press in on Ring tone to pull up the list.
7. Your recently uploaded MP3 or WMA should be in the list. Select it and hit done.
8. Hit done one more time to confirm your selection.
9. Now call your phone and try it out!
