You need a USB host to plug a flash drive into. The port on the Q is a USB slave. Plugging a flash drive into the port could permanently damage your flash drive, the Q, or both.

Ok, now with that said, does someone make a USB host?
To make it simpler, I want to copy from USB flash drive to USB flash drive.
The of course use an adapter to connect to the mini USB.
I have an 8gb flash drive with files that I sometimes need to review or email with my phone. I can't pick and choose which files, since I don't know which ones I will need.
The only USB "host" that I am aware of is a PC. If you are wanting to transfer files directly from a USB drive to a Q, then the only solution I can think of is, instead of carrying a USB flash drive, carry a USB card reader with a MiniSD card in it. That way you can take out the card and put it in the Q. However if you normally have a MiniSD card installed in the Q this may cause problems, since the Q may expect the card to be there for normal functionality (i.e. you store your mail attachments on the card).
