There are a billion reviews on the general net, but I'd add one here.
First off--Oakley is backordered on these, and you won't find out for several days after ordering. I had to cancel my Oakley direct order and re-order through "Your Electronic Warehouse" and got them next day with no issues.
As media reports state, pairing is 1-2-3 easy. Mp3s sound great through the earspieces which are VERY adjustable (three arms with four pivot points for each side).
Three buttons on each side--right side has forward/pause/back and left side has vol up/talk/vol down.
Important to note that the forward/pause/back only works with Window Media Player, not TCPMP unless someone knows a hack for that.
Taking phone calls are crystal clear, especially since, unlike the S9, the calls are heard in stereo in BOTH hears. Very unique phone call experience.
Charging is done via the same mini-USB style cord, which also allows charging off a PC as well--I'm such a geek, have to plug my sunglasses into the PC at work . There is a LED indicator which denote charge level and mode (play, talk, charging, pairing, etc).
The unit is very light, almost feel fragile, but they have flex to them in the typical quality Oakley shades of the past.
Only complaint I'd have is the volume does not increase to a level I'd like. They are plenty loud for normal use, but I used them this morning while riding my motorbike and the music was drowned out a bit. Upping the gain levels on the Q causes sound distortion so I don't think the speaker earpieces can handle the extra wattage.
Some have commented on the 'looks' of the glasses themselves. They may look hideous on the Motorola Chief and some British chick online, but they look fine on me, my wife thinks so. Just like a regular pair of sunglasses.
They are a bit pricey at $249, but can be found on ebay from 140-200. Do keep in mind they are Oakley's so you are paying for quality (and the name<G>).
I ordered the standard Black with Silver lenses, but you can order difference lens colors afterwards and replace them as you see fit. If you also choose to order direct through Oakley, you can customize your glasses with things like the color of the logos and such.
Glasses come with pouch which doubles as a cleaning cloth, charging unit with adapters for various nation power grids, instructions and CD with same.
My biggest debacle now is when the phone rings, do I answer it with my h700 or my O-Rokrs?
