I bought one of these shortly after I got my Q in April. It's simple. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and nothing else. My only complaint is that it hasn't held up very well.
I would like something similar that is a little more durable. Any suggestions?
Looks somewhat similar to the Motorola CLFRA02 case I use:
Has a ratcheting swivel clip on the rear for vertical or horizontal orientation. The inner liner is blue felt which really gives the case a classy look. Can be found on eBay for about $15 after shipping.
I have the case with the clear plastic face and belt clip. Its on the boxwave site. Its leather and has the magnetic snap at the top. Only problem it, the leather tears from the belt clip part over a short time. every phone i've had with this type of clip has torn. Have to tape up the clip part where the stupid leather comes off. should have made a solid clip without soft leather material on it bcause it wont stand the wear and tear of every day use. other than that i think its the perfect case to protect your phone from the elements. has a place manufacture cut on the back for your camera to still have a clear line of site.
I like to use my Q the way nature intended. There's no leather, rubber or plastic ski mask on my Q.
I'm a big man and I tend to catch my holster on things (especially chairs made for little skinny people). Holsters with plastic belt clips like the one Syndil uses are nice until I break them.
