So my question is generally are these batteries dependable. Has anyone ever purchased one of these generic brand batteries on ebay and if so how are they? thanks in advance for all your replies. I am really enjoying the Q by far the best phone I have ever had.
I can't speak towards the quality of the generic batteries, but I just thought I would mention that you can find Motorola OEM extended batteries on eBay for fairly cheap as well. Just add "OEM" to your search.

Yes thanks for the reply but the OEM original motorola batteries are only 1700 MaH
I went to a Batteries Plus store and bought whatever the guy gave me. It is by PowerProducts 3.7V/1600 mAh SN: 06-0706. It is the original Sprint MotoQ. Works awesome. It gives me more than twice the battery life as my first battery. It probably helped that I charged this one correctly. FYI it weighs much more and is larger, requiring a different battery cover. You get used to the weight and size quick though and I would do it again.
my experence with a 2200 mAH battery is that you may receive a battery charge error ( A red X on the screen at the end of the charge) THe battery will however be fully charged.
