Personally I think there maybe differences in screen protectors. I bought two different kinds of screen protectors on ebay. One came with three and was cheap. Then another came with one and was about the same price (as the other one that came with three). This one came from Hong Kong. Well as I have tried both I noticed that the one from Hong Kong alowed bubles to come out much easier. When applying the protectors I weted them alittle this helped but I still as I said noticed a difference.
I just got my BoxWave screen protector and LOVE IT!! Easy to apply, no bubbles, and reusable. Also got the silicone case that covers the keys. I already had one for my Treo 700P and it makes typing with nails sooooooooo much easier. No nail off of key slippage.
Any 2.5 inch screen protector will fit the Q. I am using one that came in a 3-pack for my Canon SD600 camera. Covers only the screen area but that is fine w/ me. If you get bubbles, chances are it's from dirt or dust. I found the best way to deal with this is to use a lint roller (basically a roll of tape) on the screen protector before you apply it.
Are screens really getting scratched? What do you guys do with your phones that you have to protect the screen from scratches?
Pete
I used to just toss my old phone in my pants pocket and it looked like dog crap by the time I retired it. I wanted to treat my Q a little better than that. That's why I bought a holster for it.
I haven't scratched mine yet but it does get pretty grimey.

I am very good at protecting my Q from blemishes, but better to be safe than sorry, IMO. I once accidentally dragged my keys across the screen, so I am glad the screen protector is there. It is invisible and inexpensive so the question I would ask is, why wouldn't you protect your screen?
I would never pay $12.95 for one of Boxwave's overpriced protectors though, that's just silly. I bought a 3-pack of screen protectors for $6.49 off of eBay, and I am quite happy with them. Just search for "jazz screen protector" on eBay. They are listed by camera model, but any of them made for a camera with a 2.5 inch LCD screen will fit the Q. A larger one would cover even more of the surface area on the Q and could probably even be cut to fit, but 2.5 inches is the area of the screen itself. A Canon SD600 has a 2.5 inch screen. I have that camera as well, so one went on the camera, and one on the Q, and I still have a spare if one gets gummed up.
