Fat32 or Fat16 has nothing to do with it.

The OS recognized it.

I had the same problem. Found a 4 gig card on E-bay for $15.00, shipping included, from someone who couldn't use it. I couldn't get it to read and after finding and installed the sdhc.cab file it reads and works perfectly.

First of all depends on which MotoQ you have. I'm using MotoQ 8 (Global, GSM). I'm using a 4GB and instaled a .CAB that allows the phone to read it.

I just put my 8GB card from my HTC Touch in my Q9M and it worked but only recognized 4GB.

I just bought a 8gb sdhc card and I installed the cab file and my Q only recognized 4gb's.

I have a q9c lime and im using a 4 gig sandisk mini sd it works fine but my mp4s lag on the media player...if that helps
