I have the aluminum case and it's horrible! It cuts the signal in half and if you are using a bluetooth headset is pratically impossible. I would have to open the case just to get a good reception. I definitely do not recommend this purchase. I hope you can return it.
Oh man . . . that is horrible news. But thanks for letting me know. I should have asked before I ordered. Maybe I can cancel it since I ordered it on Friday night and they are not open during the weekend.
What color is yours and do you want to sell it? Extended battery version?
Mine is black and yes it was for the extended battery.
Honestly, I wouldn't sell it to my worst enemy! That's how much I really don't like the product, the concept was great, but it's a shame it has that much affect on the phone itself. I live in NY city where the possiblity of loosing your signal is a rarity unless you are taking the subway and I have noticed that whenever I have it in the case I barely get any signal.
Good luck if you do use it, maybe you will have better luck than I did.
gixxerguy, I am very sorry to hear the case was not what you expected.
It's a shame, it's a great idea. But they have a lot to clean up in order to really sell this product.
I currently use the silicone case with the holder the phone comes with, so that has been working for me.
