I posted this under appliations
but since this section is concerning alltel i thought i would post it here as well.
how does alltel owe sprint for its success
i'll be honest with you,i have been with alltel for quite awhile and i have experienced none of the horror stories that i've heard from customers with other services.
in all the years i have been with them these are some of the advantages.
everytime alltel has a special, current customers can also take advantage of it,i have switched to more minutes and a lower price many times
the "My Circle"plan allows me to pick ten customers, change them whenever i want and talk all i want free
the customer service is awesome, when someone in tech support will also find a way to help lower your bill, that's great service
in all the years i have been with Alltel i have had one dropped call
ONE!
i definitely agree with you, we are the fifth Largest Wireless network according to the boards but if you look @ it in a different aspect we are the largest "ALL" and "PURE" wireless network in America so no thanks "SPRINT" we owe them nothing for the success of ALLTEL because they did it on there own......
Been with Alltel for going on 7 years now. And have nothing but good things to say about them. I called up there tech support the day after I got my Q, as the voicemail notification would not disappear after I cleared out the voicemail. The guy on the other line offered to call me back on my house phone to help me with my issue. He didn't just tell me to hang up and call back. Hands down Alltel will be keeping my business for a long time.
Absolutely! I changed to Alltel 3yrs ago from Verizon! I have never been more pleased with any cell provider as I have with Alltel. The customer service has been top notch & I too have been able to adjust my service plan several times to save me more money.(Side note: since getting the Moto Q I've been able to cut me cell bill in HALF by getting the data package!)
My girlfriend works for Alltell, and the truth is that the company (and customers) use shared towers however we pay premium prices. So when an alltell customer is using a tower, and another customer from another subscriber is using the same tower or their phone is attempting to connect Alltell customers get the right of way. If the tower bandwidth is full, then someone already using the tower from another subscriber gets their call dropped. So, in all sense of the matter, you should care.
No matter where I went in this state (I used to travel from N.FL to S FL a lot) I NEVER HAD ANY COVERAGE!!!!!! It didn't matter if I had all the bars in the world on my phone, I couldn't hear other people, they couldn't hear me. I switched phones, did the whole 9 yards...nothing worked. I finally called them and told them to cancell my contract asked the girl how many minutes I've used, they weren't gonna charge me cancellation fees and stuff like that...I paid the last and only bill which was $45.xx (It's been a couple years so I don't remember exact amounts). I get a bill about a month later for almost four hundred dollars for overages on calls, roaming (which was included) Long distance calls (which was also included) and also the freaking cancellation fee....
I spent almost 2 hours fighting that on the phone with those retarded people....they don't listen...they don't care and they will screw you any chance they get.
