I just got my Moto Q on Friday, but I'm abit confused on the plan they set me up on. I told the salesman I wanted to use the web features on my Moto Q without it eating away at my minutes, and he said that was what he setup, however when I look online the Axxess Web feature says it does deduct minutes.
In reviewing my plan via Alltel's site, it shows I have a "Smart Choice Data Plan" plus I'm on the $89.99 Smartphone plan with 500 minutes. I've tried to get ahold of the salesman who I talked to just to verify because I don't want a HUGE phonebill come next month incase I misunderstood him, but just curious what plans others are on with Alltel.
I've already setup an IRC client and Google chat client plus have Outlook set to check email every 15 minutes, and the minutes will add-up if I'm being charger per minute for use.
Well I just talked to a guy a Alltel (not the local one, but on the 800 line), and he verified that I do have unlimited Internet via my Moto Q. He said on his side the code he looks for is AMLC, and thanks to Google I found this is Axcess Mobile Link Choice. I also read that with this service I can connect the phone to my computer and use it as an Internet 'gateway' of sorts. I need to find out how to do this, so fun!

Anyway, just an FYI..
