does anyone else have a lot of problems out of their Q?
I don't do much at all on it... i tried to setup my gmail so i could email a couple pics... because it wouldn't send anything before so i thought maybe if use my gmail account.
so i set it up.
soon as i did.
it froze. and wouldn't do anything.
turned it off and nothing would work.. couldn't even make a call.
couldn't view contacts or anything.
so i had to do my third master reset..
i have had 4 moto q's... all of them froze and i took them back.
alltel will not give me a diff. phone even a cheaper one.. i just want anything other than this one.
i want to be able to at least send a damn mms message.
I upgraded to a Q just so I could send/recieve pics and vids. I made a point of asking if I could when I bought the phone. Cant Alltel put out an update or something? Would MMS kill them?
I agree with both you guys. First of all I hate this phone, because I can't send pics with txt msgs. I got this phone specifically to do so, and it took forever for anybody in Alltel to finally confirm that this was not possible. After weeks of being led on with false info, it was too late to return the damn thing. Second of all, this cursed piece of crap freezes up ALL THE FRIGGEN TIME! For all sorts of reasons! I have to take out the battery each time. The most rediculous hard freeze occurs when using the camera. I might be able to get some pictures taken if I'm lucky, but it eventually always freezes, which leads to corrupted pic files. Plus, Motorola can't seem to make a decent camera for any of their phones to start with. I don't know if it's hardware or piss poor drivers or both, but Motorola just can't get it right.
The only things I like on this phone are the qwerty keyboard (could be improved though), it can play videos, and the text messages never seem to get full. I must have a thousand text messages on my phone, which helps me a lot! I just wish I could find a hack or tweak so I could move these texts on to my pc.
I don't know...I kinda like my Q. I can't stand Alltel...but I like my phone(knocking on wood that it doesn't crap out now that I've made that statement with one hand and typing with the other).
