Loging off

How do you log off being online after you quit email explorer ect. I have to turn my phone off and cant find any info in the manual Im sure its simple but then so am I...

If you use Task Manager to kill any open programs and yu no longer see the PDA icon in the iconbar then you are no longer using data.

I tried what you said it still shows in the upper right hand corner that im still steaming data above my signal bars.

I believe those arrows above the signal bars, at least according to my users manual, simply indicate that you're in an area where Data service is available. My arrows are ALWAYS on, unless I go into BFE somewhere in Michigan and I drop out of EVDO or if I'm in the casino, and it also drops down to the 1xRT network. I wouldn't worry about it.

You could be right my question is why do they go away until i go on line again after i shut my phone off? God I hate smart phones I think Ill go back to my brick phone

The arrows mean that your phone has an IP address. They're nothing to worry about.
