I have an Alltel Q9C with WM 6.0 and would like to upgrade to 6.1. I found an old link on a motorola site for the upgrade but it does not work and I spoke to Motorola and Alltel and they both said they do not have an upgrade available. Does anyone know how I can upgrade to 6.1
Hopefully this works. Please leave feedback and let me know if it works.

This is the same file that I found on the Motorola site. It goes thru installing an ap on the PC and says everything worked. It then goes to the Motorola site and says everything is up to date. It never updates the Q9C.
So I am guessing I am out of luck and the upgrade has been withdrawn.

It also gives you the registy changes to change the pescky key changes between the camera and speakerphone keys. Although I had to turn the cereg file into a cab file and install it . Instead of using cereg editor .Copied the 10 files to the windows files on phone installed the cab file I made , And reboot. Shazzam, worked great! Now I'm back to 6.1 again ooo happydays LOL.
O forgot to mension when starting mms you have to open menu then tools then options then account settings then mmsc settings now move check to alltel mms

is a little bit complicated. Look i havea Sprint Moto Q9c but i flashed it to ViVA DOminicana a service [provider from my country, when i got it flashed, the inteface and the start logo when you turn on the phone was from Altell, Homescreen themes includes altells ones and nothing of Sprint. So I think i can say i have a Sprint Motoq9c but it is working like an Altell one.(But it is really just working in Vivas network only with alltel layout and applications).
The problem is that the flash files will work for US carriers because they have customizations that are only compatible with that network. The phone may be flashed but you won't get the phone activated to work correctly.
The only use this has is to provide someone with the files it takes to cook a Q9C ROM but it would need to be customized for your overseas carrier. Do you know anyone else in your area that is flashing their Q9s? Perhaps the same source you used to get it flashed to VivVA Dominica has a custom ROM for 6.1 that may work for you.
