Huge disappointment. Although, I have heard of a Mac script that will convert the software contents to an Apple-compatible program. I'm searching for it.
How do you update the software on your Moto Q if you are a mac user?
-I tried downloading a software update. And then using Missing Sync and dragging it over to my Moto Q for it to run and update, but that didn't work.
-I tried dropping by the Sprint repair store to see if they could update it for me and they said they could not. they told me to call tech support.
I figure I would try here in hopes of a MAC user having success in running software updates for their Moto Q. Anyone?
If you're running a MAC with intel, you could run Parallels with Windows XP to run Activesync and the Motorola Update Software, or, you could install Windows XP with Bootcamp and then Do the Update with Activesync and Motorola Update SW.
Or as the other poster said:
