i posted this under travises doom but i left out one big part sorry here are the steps again that will get doom on your phone full working no glitches.
1download the file that i have posted to your computer
2 then go in travis's doom post and download his
3after you have done all the downloading do this
4hook your cell up to your computer
5open the cell doom installer and install it
6then take travis's doom file and open it you will need to locate the (wad file) and add it to eather your storage card or your documents restart your phone and your done.now doom will work without one flaw.
*to open the file go to file manager then go in storage it will say program files select that and it will open the game*
i have done this on a motorola q so i know it works on this
You can now start playing Doom on your Smartphone! Here are the keys:
Left Menu - Strafe left or zoom out in map mode
Right Menu - Strafe right or zoom in in map mode
Cursor Keys - Movement (run mode is always turned on)
OK - Shoot
Home - Strafe
Back - Show the game menu
1..7 - Weapon selection
9 - Toggle God mode
* - Shoot
0 - Use (open doors, turn switches)
SEND - Rotate screen. This will also change the cursor keys for better control.
I installed it correctly with this file and placing the WAD file in the correct place,... the game play's fine but the sound goes out accationaly, have to reset the phone to get any sound,... but ever since I installed it,.. I get know sound through my headphones and this sucks considering I use the phone mostly for a mp3 player,... hoping a master reset will fix this,.. unforianatly I'll have to do my hacks again also!

well, i followed all the instructions, but i don't seem to have any method of running the game, i have no icon, nothing to select in my menu options, all i can do is view the wad file i had to move to the storage file, and of course that doesn't work if u try to acess it, a little help here plz
Someone should figure this out to get it to work with very simple directions and post it for us new guys. This is the only game I'm really intested in and I can't get it to work.

Hmm... followed directions, but when i rebooted, the Q just sits at the verizon wireless logo. It's sat there for 4 hours now. The battery died once, so i did take it out and put in my original normal life battery, still the same. Called Verizon and ended up having to reset my phone, lost all my contacts docs programs etc etc. Use this file at your own risk!
for the love of god repack the game please. put the wad file in & pack
it into a proper .cab geeez why is this setup so cheesy tricky when its actually incredibly simplistic ?
