With Automatic Keylock, you can add an automatic keypad lock and an idle screen saver like on most other mobiles phones to your Windows Mobile powered smartphone.
Features include:
The timeout for keypad lock and screen saver can be configured seperately for applications and homescreen.
You can exclude applications of your choice from the automatic keylock.
Either use keypad lock or device lock.
On profile changes to several profiles (Headset/Car/Handsfree/Charging), several actions can by taken.
Additionally, the screen saver has some nice features:
The screen saver lines can be configured in respect to content and font size.
It can show the current time, date, the amount of missed calls and messages, information from CellProfileSwitcher and a phone status line which contains information about the battery charge level, the signal strength level and the current profile.
A line with status icons for the most important information can be displayed.
Upon a missed call or a missed message, the screen saver can be configured to do some action (backlight blink).
This should be everyone's FIRST DOWNLOAD to their Q. It is easily the most useful utility for the Q. The screen saver is essential. I programmed the screen saver to timeout, then when I press a key it shows the time and date and any missed calls/messages while staying locked. The screen saver is fully customizable. This utility is simple yet sweet...
Maybe I just don't get it. Are the file directories different on the sprint version of the Q? Because I cant seem to find File System anywhere. If some one can give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated.
All Califf22 meant was copy it to your phone (ie your phone's File System), then run it from there. I'm pretty sure any directory on your phone will do.
Try dowloading the file to a specified folder of your choice then apply it to another folder on your Q (I use a folder named 'CAB Files') then open it with your Q, not your PC
I get it......My problem was that I thought you had to unzip the file first. You only have to transfer the entire zipped file, then open it with file explorer. Thanks for the help
Is this program able to make it so that nothing turns the screen on except one button? or that certain programs are only accessible by certain buttons(this would be useful for playing music so that only certain buttons which aren't easily pressed are able to change things about the program and i don't activate screen wasting power.)
