they have to be in a certain directory!! move them to your my documents folder and they should show up under your ring tones. You are better off using mp3 format.. wav takes up way to much space. you can cut clips from mp3s at 56kbs @ 22hz mono and they sound perfect. i use sony sound forge and it works perfect. if you need any more info just message me.

You need to be in your file manager on your phone and when you are on the file you want to move click [Menu]--File--Move To. Then select the directory and click [Done].
I was just reading the forum and would like to bring up some comments as a summary of the ideas:
- The best option is to keep your music and ringtones as MP3s, because of space
- You may want to have your ringtones and music in the Storage Card. If you sinc your music with MP11 it will create a folder called Music. Ringtones may be kept in the root folder of the Storage Card.
- If you like to give each caller a ringtone, you can rename the ringtone in the Storage Card as "Ringtone Family" or "Ringtone Kids" as example. That way whenever you may want to change it, you just copy the new ringtone already renamed with the "Ringtone ***" name, and there will be no need to set the ringtone to each caller again.
