Hi i'm a new member to this site and was wondering if anyone could shed light on my question:
in the downloads section here there is an update called "standalone update" for the q9h that mentions it upgrades to 6.1 and that it is by AT&T
does this mean it is for that carrier only or that it is an unlocked update that wont lock me into at&t's network or that its solely for that network?
It is carrier specific as the name suggests for the AT&T Q9H phone only. It will not work on another phone. Once you plug your phone in and try to run the software it will try to detect the specific phone.
