Sprint and Microsoft offer location-based search

Sprint users now have the option to search using Microsoft’s Live Search. The service takes the users location into consideration via cell-tower triangulation, and not GPS. The new search option also allows for a voice search feature, but only with Sprints high end phones. And while sprint is getting most of the attention, Microsoft has pointed out that its search service “could become available via other operators in the future.”
