Even though the Motorola Q has the capability to accomodate all sorts of lifestyles, I can't say that it's the smoothest experience. Ken Hoover of Investor's Business Daily gives some quick thoughts on the Q, highlighting a few things to think about from the investor's point of view. One statistic I found interesting was the small, but growing percentage of wireless traders:
"TD Ameritrade and Schwab, both of which have sites to accommodate wireless traders. The sites are stripped of graphics to make them faster for the otherwise slower wireless connections that the cellular carriers provide.
Wireless trading has caught on in some parts of the world, but not in the U.S., at least not yet. Schwab says wireless access accounts for only about 5% of its Web usage.
Jay Pestrichelli, manager of the active traders group at TD Ameritrade, says growth in wireless trading has mirrored the company's growth, but concedes wireless is a small fraction of its business.
Wireless technology may have to advance a step or two before wireless trading becomes common."
