IIRC the black Verizon Q came with MOL2 pre-installed. Unless your Q is silver and you haven't run any updates on it, this will not work. I recommend PDAnet.
hey i enabled the dial-up network and it stays enabled but i cant find the settings on the new mac os 10.5 cause they changed the settings if someone could help me out with what im suppost to pick
after hours of searching and editing i finlly found a way to make the ##342587 to work on an updated q...only to get a modem error when attempting to connect to my mac....then i chose the verizon 1xevdo as the modem and it seemed like i had it all figured out. the two connected and safari started searching for signal...grabbed the signal and gave me the following message 'this device is currently not authorized to access DUN services...' damn! they covered every back door. guess it will have to be pdanet for me too.
Is there a post for the GSM version of the Q? I what to do this on my Q9 Global. I was able to pull the "shared connection" app from the /Windows folder but I can't get it to work through Bluetooth.
Im not positive but I think you are missing a file. Go through the first 4 pages of the thread. Somebody had a similar problem as you and it turns out he forgot to install a file in the right place.
