Good bye ...

This has nothing to do with Pocket PC. It doesn't have anything to do with the Q, Treo, BlackBerry or even an iPhone.

It doesn't have to do anything with Mobile world. The person I'm writing this about doesn't even own a cell phone. I'm writing this as a sport fan, media audience and a fellow football follower. Always, a kid at heart

It's truly an honor and I admit that I have been taking this for granted, but I am thankful that I was a part of it.

I am truly sad that I won't ever be seeing this picture (below) as a football fan. Good bye, Brett Favre. You had been one of the most fun player to watch. Also, you were the reason I gave NFL a shot. If not, I would have only watched HS and college ball.

I'm no Packers fan but I kinda wanted to see them go all the way and win the Superbowl this year so Favre could go out on top.

Thumbs up

Yeah, It really sucks for him and ol' Dan Marino. Two great quarterbacks that never got a Super Bowl Championship ring. I figured he would give it one more go considering the season he had this year. But from what I understand the Packers were trying to get Moss from the Patriot's and once that fell thru, he decided it was time. But who would leave the Pats? He was awesome to watch and sucks he is gone. On a good note your post was well put together. GO 49ers! (we need all we can get, even though we picked up Isaac Bruce)

Ahh well he does. Not to shabby then.
The year before Elway got his his.
Ok well then I dont feel that bad for him anymore. I knew he made it to the Super Bowl a couple times. But heck I for got all about that one. Its poor ol' Marino all by himself. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm not a Packers fan either. I'm Seahawks (and no, I will not go into an arguing match with you, Rookie... I hate those fans who trash talk to the other teams... honestly, each team have their good and bad)

I'm just glad I was here to see him play. I also was rooting for him to go to SB. I thought the Packs stood the best chance, since the WRs were good, the special team was more than decent and they had Ryan Grant (who torched my beloved Seahawks)

Also, about Moss situation. That happened last year and Favre was pissed. This year, it didn't make that much impact on his decision. He's just tired of preparing for the games. Honestly, I'd like to be in his shoes, but I don't think I could've pulled off 17 years. I was already sick of 2 years of 2-a-day.... We're turning to be a football forum

I too shall miss Brett, especially the last several exciting seasons since Lovie Smith has taken office.

And I will never forget the first statement this great man said during his press conference after accepting the job.

"The first thing on the agenda is to beat the Packers."

Grinz....DA BEARS!!!!

By the way I think it will actually be fun seeing Brett give the AFC teams Hell, hopefully he will stick around for at least 3 more seasons.
