Looks like Motorola has a comeback plan and if the roadmap on the right is legit, it does look promising. Motorola’s Q4 2009 and Q1 2010 Roadmap shows Motorola’s Medium and Higher Tier Social Smartphones. Sholes may have potential in becoming a tablet. Two new phones the Motus and the Zeppelin have also appeared and are set for Q1 2010 release with similar specs as the DEXT, which has been released for a while now. We are expecting to see the Sholes later this month. Here is a summary of the specs on the new devices:
Motorola Sholes Tablet:
- HSUPA
- 3.7″ 480×854 TouchScreen
- 8.0 MP Camera, auto focus and Xenon flash
- 720p Video via HDMI802.11b/g w/ DLNA
- Map 2.0
The Tablet looks to be launched early 2010, the differences between this and the handset seem minimal. We’ll have to wait until next year to find out.
