UC Web 7.0

Hey folks, I need someone to test this program to make sure that it works on the Q. If it works I'll post it in the downloads section. It installs fine on my Q9 but when I run it I get chinese text. Like the previous versions I suspect that it needs to connect to the web to perform the update and get the language set correctly. Let me know if this is the case here, thanks.

Foiled Again!!! I just loaded it up, Left Soft Key for the Main Menu scrolls fine in English but all the screens are still in the Kryptonite Language! You would think by now they would had this fixed thus giving them an upper hand in one of the best independent Browsers, but I guess not. Perhaps a Dev over at XDA-Developers finally lost patience and took the time to rebuild one of UCWEBs latest versions and it is 100% English.

Yeah, I just posted in their user forums to see if there is a possible solutions. The pocket PC version works great, I don't know why they can't get the smartphone version together.

Try the attached zip file, it has 2 other versions that are supposedly for other languages for smartphones. When I tried they did the same thing so I don't know what you are going to run into but let me know what you find, thanks.

(The JAVA version works great and I've posted that version in the downloads but it would be nice to get this version working.)

The other ones that you shot to me didn't give me english in the browser either, only the soft key menus.

For those of you who would like to see this version of the browser work please go to the UC Web forum and post that it is not working for Windows Mobile smartphone. Hopefully they will work on getting it fixed. I've been trying to get them to understand the problem which I don't think they understand quite well yet.
