ASK can someone help me with WM upgrade ?

hello i'm from Indonesia and i just buy motorola Q cdma
because have special discount
i now kind of late
because in my country moto Q9c/m is very rare

now i want to ask how i can upgrade my WM 5 to WM 6.0 / 6.1 / 6,5 ?

can someone help me

oh yeah my motorola is free from bundling mean not have carrier
i kind of scary if i upgrade with some firmware from US carrier my motorola Q will be locked

can some one help me ? thx

No you can't,the cdma not be upgraded..the only able to uprade are the older black Q's gsm version that came with wm6..

you can do plenty, you just can't update to WM6.

Yes if that is the phone you have,,it is possible to upgrade to WM 6.1..depending on the radio version of your phone..

Ok so I have the Q8 with Windows Mobile 5.0. I know I can upgrade to WM 6.1 but how do I do this? Sorry but I am pretty much clueless when it comes to WM upgrading. Plus I really don't want to mess up and brick my phone!

Are you SURE it's a Q8. I am fairly certain all Q8's were WM 6.0. You may have a black classic Moto Q, If it is WM 5.0
