I am currently considering the Moto Q 9h from AT&T and have two questions related to the keyboard. Yes, I know it's really nice and all, but...
(a) How do you do Backspace when typing? Does the Back button to the right of the directional pad become a Backspace when in an editable text box?
(b) This question is directed to those who came from another QWERTY device. How do you deal with having only one Shift button and only on the right side? Most people press Shift with the left hand and then the second key with the right hand.
These 2 may be the deciding factors for me at this point. The BlackJack II is my other choice.
Thanks in advance for your UNBIASED feedback. Ha!
I may drop by the AT&T store after work today or tomorrow and get the Q 9h and give it a try. I wonder if they will allow me to pay $50-100 more and get a 1-year contract instead of 2, but I highly doubt it. I always have 30 days to return it if I don't like it. I might try the BlackJack II in that case.
I got the Q today. It's 5:15 AM and I still haven't gone to bed playing with it. I love it. The only complaint I have is that I thought it would be faster, but it's not terrible.
