I'm using GPSProga for GPS navigation, it's using GoogleMaps and keep all cache on StorageCard and can use in Offline mode, with GPS and without him.

Windows Live Search does this, and for free.

This is my first post and must say I just found out about this place... IT ROCKS!

I just got my Q9h (att) and started up Google maps and selected the GPS. It says it is searching for sats but minutes go by and nothing. I am outside and still nothing... Is this normal? However when I select the My Location it says that my handset is not compatable... What gives?

Thanks

Try upgrading your phone to Windows Mobile 6.1 (available from the Moto website). When using the Q9h with Windows Mobile 6.0, it takes several minutes for the GPS to lock on; and until it does lock on, you'll experience the issues you posted about. With Windows Mobile 6.1, the Q9h uses assistance from the cell towers to lock on to a signal and you won't experience the problems you posted about.

Nav4All

I've been unable to get Nav4All to work. Someone stated earlier that it does, but I'm unable. I installed GPSID and set it to COM3, 19200 baud, automatic. GoogleMaps works and GPS Test shows the GPS as functioning properly. When I try to use the GPS with Nav4All, I get the message: "cannot get port timeouts". Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
