I do a lot of 3-way calling in my business. I can successfully initiate the 3-way call by dialing the first number, pressing green button, dialing the second number, waiting for a connection, then selecting Menu -> Conference.
The problem is that I need to navigate a phone tree with the number keys once on the 3-way call, and my Moto Q 9h doesn't allow my number keys to work in touch-tone mode on the phone tree, if that makes sense. In other words, the phone tree on the second call isn't responsive to me pressing the number key pads on my Q. I also pressed Fn and then the numbers and still no luck.
Anyone have this happen and know how to work around this?
I'll answer my own thread. I just spoke to Motorola. This issue has nothing to do with my provider or my plan (AT&T Wireless). Motorola tells me that adjusting the DTMF (Dial Tone Modulation Frequency) will not address the issue.
They (Motorola) have made a request to their product development team to fix this problem in the next version of firmware for the Q9h. So for now I have to deal with it.
