I am at my wits end with the voice recognition software on my moto Q9H. I recently purchased a Motorola MicroUSB Black Stereo Headset (S280). Everytime i listen to music the voice recognition software kicks in and starts either dialling random people from my contact list or prompting me to say a command.
If anyone knows a fix that would be great. Otherwise, is there a way to remove the application all together?
I can't say for sure about the Q9h, but the regular Q is not compatible with USB headsets, despite what the Motorola web-store will tell you. Could be a similar problem with the Q9h.

HELP!!!
I have basically the same problem!!
I thought that maybe deleting voice recognition from the Startup Folder might work. But all I get is "Permission Denied" when I try to delete it or try to delete the voice recognition software.

Someone, help!
You can connect your Q to your PC and browse via windows explorer. There would be no permissions problems. I would copy the file to your desktop to back it up just in case. Your Q may show an error every time it tries to load the voice recognition software, and that may be just as annoying.
So if it causes a problem, just copy it back into the folder from your backup and soft reset.
