Does you speaker make smilar noises when you play other sounds or music? If not, the start up sound file may be corrupted.

I don't have any problems with my speaker, it sounds great.

I know this is probly not a great help but have you tried to turn your keyboard control sound off?
Start,Settings,Sounds, scroll all the way down to keyboard control and choose none and then done?
