whenever i plug my phone in to charge or sync, it makes a really loud beep and i can't seem to find any way of turning this off, or even down. what am i missing?
it does the same with mine. In order not to disturb anyone I put mine on silent or vibrate first then plug it in. I'm sure there's a registry hack for it but I just don't know it yet.

Go to Profiles. Select the Profile that you are using. Hit the Menu soft button. Select Edit. Go to the last option that says System Sound Volume, turn it off. That will make the beeping stop when you plug and unplug your phone.
