Q9H - Display distorted in emulators / games. Why? Read for answer

I know many of you Q9H users have noticed horrible display issues while trying to run your favorite emulators and a good handful of games.Screen all distorted, out of place.Pretty much un-playable.The fault is lies in the Q9H's display mapping.Instead of being mapped X by Y,It's mapped into 4 split up areas.X by X1 - Y by Y1 (just a basic eg.).It has a beefed up graphics accelerator but good ol moto figured that was enough and never properly mapped the display.
.
The display is mapped somewhere within the registry. There is a fix for this I assure you.Someone over at Modaco had posted their findings and I'm still in the process of finding it (it was a few months back). This post is here basically to let those of you know what's going on and that it isn't a bad Q9H or a problem with the emulator.I will post the link as soon as I find it.I'm in the middle of debugging my Q9M of it's pesky slowdown issue (trying to at least)..
.
Keep an eye on this post later on.If someone else finds that link or knows the display mapping fix, please do post it here.Help out the rest of the Q9H community.

Uh not sure if this will work on all types of emulators, but it works for Pocketnester.Go to options---graphics---check the first two boxes(show more than 8 sprites per line and show all 240 scanlines).I still haven't been able to get decent sound,it's just too loud.I'm also unable to save my button configs.Anyone know how to do either?

Works? As in runs..or works...as in an emulator that doesn't show up all distorted on your q9h? First question...a whole lot of them.pocketnester/plus ,picodrive , pocketsnes..etc.Second question.....honestly,I don't know.I think they all show up like that. There are a few standalone games (not emulators) that have seperate fixes specifically for the Q9H display issue.

As for emulators, you'll have to check with masterall or nOp.Those guys are the ones writing these emulators. You can find masterall posting updates and responses for his current emu ports (picodrive, pocketsnes,GBACE) over at modaco.com.It's in the Smartphones/Games forum.nOp however is on some other board (????) and speaks mostly russian.Good luck witht that one.
