Thanks but I don't want to purchase a program and I don't want to save all messages. There are just sometimes when I want to save one for some reason or another. When I click on move,it only gives me the option of moving it to the inbox, drafts, sent, outbox. I want to either create a new folder called "saved" or move it to my storage card but I can't figure out how to do it. I could do that on my other cheap phone but can't seem to figure out how to do it on this phone. Thanks for your help
Text messages are kept in the PIM.VOL database on the root of the phone unlike e-mail messages which are files stored on the phone. They cannot be moved to the storage card or saved to a PC without 3rd party software. Unfortunately you cannot create subfolders to move them to either.

Well dang, I can't believe my cheap little phone I had before would let me create a folder and name it "saved" to save any text messages I needed to save but this expensive phone won't allow me to do it.
I did download dashwire and I think I am going to love it. I am still playing around with it but it seems really user friendly. And you are right, yes this phone can do a lot more my other phone could do, I am just still learning all the features so I can use it to its full potential. Thanks for the suggestions.
your welcome. hint, set it to sync manually, otherwise its a battery hog. just make sure you have your phone plugged into the charger when using dashwire.
