Text message alerts

Hello all,

I just got my Q9m a couple of weeks ago and am finally getting down to really making some changes. One of the things that I cant figure out is why I cant use any of the tones I put on my phone as alerts. I can use them as regular ringtones but not as text message alerts or any alert for that matter.

Anyone know why or what I have to do to make it work?

Thanks.

They are indeed wav files, is there maybe a special location that they need to be in?

I have mine under "Application Data\Sound", although I don't know if that's necessary.

It appears it does matter where they go. That worked, thanks!
