Curious to see if anyone else had an issue with Q where it gets stuck at the Verzion boot splash screen. I am on my third Q in the past week from Verizon, and wonder if my local Verizon store received a bad batch of phones. I haven't loaded any applications, and I am using the phone right our the box as is.
I'm having the same problem. You have to do a master reset, which deletes all the information and settings you have stored in your phone. Had my phone for about 10 days and have done it twice already. Verizon is sending me another phone today and I hope it doesn't do this again.
i had the same problem with my old Q and i went to 3 of them but iam talking about the first motorola Q ....motorola supposaly fixed the problem with the new one.. i hope it dont happen to me and try to report it to the motorola company maybe they can help
i had the same problem, but ithink it was cuz i put doom on my phone. the stupid game corrupted my sound files also. i just got my new one today but the programming isnt working. i love this phone but i absolutely hate verizon.

today it almost happened to me again, it started saying my sound files were corrupted. Im positive now its because i added a song as my ringtone through active sync. that ***** up your phone. i just deleted the song and now my phone is back to normal.
verizon sucks, dont add any **** to your phone your not "supposed" to. it will **** it up. end of story, learn that.

Same problem here. I got my new 9m 5 days ago and added a song as my ring tone and it stopped ringing all together. Then WMP stopped working and when I restarted the phone it froze. Ive tried the hard reset to no avail. Any suggestions?
Not sure what to tell you, I've had my Q9M since I've been a member here September 07 and haven't had any issue that I didn't cause myself. I did a hard reset once and found out later I didn't have to do that to fix my problem. I'm starting to believe there is a bad batch of phones which is not good at all..
I will suggest doing a firmware update if it is even applicable or neccessary to your phone from Motorola's website outside of getting a new one or waiting till they release the Q9C.
I had the same problem with the MotoQ freezing on the verizon screen and verizon gave me and new phone. Verizon told me to get the latest updated software that should fix that problem.
