So i updated the software on my Q 9M and now my contact list appears in my call log. I cant seem to get it out of there. It wasn't there before. I still have the contact list on my home screen, and it works just fine. Any ideas on how to get it out of the call log though?? Any help would be much appreciated.
"Last 16" Q9M's ??? Geez man. After the 3rd one I'd have boughten a different phone. Anytime I have an issue with my Q9m thats gotten bothersome..I master reset and the problems gone.geez....16...
I just got my q 9h 4 days ago and now its frozen on the verizon start screen. I just saw the "master reset comment" and was wondering if anyone can give me the procedure for that.
i got you beat! i just updated mine and LOST ALL my contacts numbers!! ALL OF THEM!!!!!!!!
As much as I'm going to regret saying this, Wireless Sync is great for backing up all of your contact info. and email (if you use outlook) in events when you have to hard reset. I don't care for the fact that it is not easy to work with, despite the documentation there's still alot of trial and error and having to figure it out. It also runs in the background but you can customize it so that it doesn't constantly sync to your device and doesn't strain the battery.
My Moto Q 9m won't turn off even after I've taken out the battery then putting it back in. Verizon Wireless is the only thing that appears on the screen.
I've been using it for only 1 week.
This occured only after I recharged it for the 1st time since I charged the battery for over 20 hours before using it the 1st time.
HELP. I've entered Contacts & have some Text Msgs that I'd hate to lose.
Well if you cant get past bootloader screen everytime you turn it on then the only thing I can think of is a master reset.Unless you can actually get the phone loaded up then I can think of no way to access files on the internal storage area......best thing you can do guys n gals....before you even do anything else...go to root section of internal storage and copy the file "pim.vol" to your memory card.Thats the contact list and call history file. And anytime you ever add to the contact list, make another copy of the pim.vol file. Then if you ever have to do a master reset when your phone goes nuts...you can just copy and paste the pim.vol file over the existing one.Turn phone off then back on and everythings back.
As far as messages go.I done copied all the messages onto memory card. But for some reason when I put any of those messages back into messaging folder after master reset, the messaging program doesnt read them.Ignores them for some reason.
