Not a lot of Q9M owners around here

Seems to be the least active of all hardware boards.

Maybe the Q9m has the least amount of problems.

I have had my Q9m for about 4 months now. Only thing is that it operates sluggishly. Wish it was faster responding to keystrokes...

I would go through this thread. I have used some of these and they seem to improve performance for me. I'm not sure which one but you can start with the speed hack for instance.

Could also be because only one carrier has it?

We're not all a bunch of high rollers so we can't afford Verizon

High roller ? Yeah..I wish. Back in '03 when I bought my first phone through vzw;my entire family had Sprint. They constantly had dropped calls and got billed outrageous charges for things they didnt want.I didn't want that kind of service.Nextel wasn't that good along with AT&T.They just happen to offer vzw at a booth in the place I worked then.Consumer Reports also gave vzw a high score for service.

I didn't anticipate the royal PITA vzw would cause down the road. The way I see it,no service is top notch. There's a pile of BS waiting to sneak up on you no matter what service you sign up with.

Yeah ..I know vzw is expensive.Even more nowadays.
