Does anyone know whether it is possible to select multiple emails in the inbox and delete a group of emails at once? I find that I often will have 30 or 40 emails to delete and deleting them one by one is less than ideal.
I'm not sure if you can do that or not. I've been scowering the internet to find out if you can select multiple file in file manager. So far I haven't found anything. I think they both use the same function on the device, if I find anything I'll post back here.

You can't do it in the email program itself, but you can do it relatively easily in FILE MANAGER. I changed my phone's registry so emails all go an inbox on my storage card; I don't recall where the native Q put them, but the idea is the same:
Use FILE MANAGER to go to the directory storing the emails (they appear as MPB files). Select: <Menu><Selection> then you have some choices, including <Select All> and <Select Multiple>. The rest is obvious when you get there. I always have to use <Multiple> because I have a subdirectory below the inbox for attachments. When I hit <Select All>, it also selects the subdirectory and wants to delete that, too.
Resco Explorer will do something similar. After getting to the directory, use <Menu><Edit>. The problem is that Resco only has a <Select All>.

Hope it helps.
i have a black moto q (verizon) wm5.0.....would you be able to tell me how to make windows use the sd card to store all sms/mms messages....i'm assuming by a registry edit, but i can't find anything on my own and have searched endlessly on the net for an anwser.
I would love the ability to select multiple e-mails with checkboxes like you can select multiple files in File Manager. I think that's what's being asked for here and I don't know of a way to do it. However if anyone is interested you can add "Mark all as read" and "Delete All" to the mail app by installing Inbox Extender.
