What do I do with the homescreen files and game files once I download them? Is there an uploader program through the pc or do I download them directly from the Q? I know this is a newb question but I just got the phone and am still figuring out how to use it so any help would be greatly appreciated.
There are usually two different kinds of installer files. Run .cab files from your phone and run .exe files from your computer.
For .cab installers, open ActiveSync on your computer. Click Tools then Explore Pocket PC. Copy the .cab file to \My Documents or the Storage Card (if you have one). On your Q, press Start then File Explorer. Locate the .cab file. Select it. Follow on-screen instructions.
For .exe installers, just run them from your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions. At some point during the install it will tell you to check your device for more steps. Follow the on-screen instructions on your Q to complete the install.
Ok...So for some reason when I put the .cab in the my documents folder of my phone, it lists it in the home screen listing but it doesn't come through with the images?
The other problem I have is I downloaded pacman and I can't shut the damn sound off, did I do something wrong or is this just the way it is?
