I am using Windows XP SP2, and i cannot figure out how to attatch my phone to my laptop. I cant find the bluetooth preferences in my control panel! Is there something i need to install for bluetooth to work on my laptop? please help!
Welcome to HelloMotoQ MarkyD! Do you have Bluetooth set up correctly with your PC? What adapter are you using? Let us know so that we can help you further!
Just a quick note I had so much trouble trying to get Bluetooth working with my PC a while back I don't even want to try it until I hear good stuff about it. My brother is great with software too and we agreed it was a major pain. The thing that turned me off the most was when a support person at Belkin said "Hay it's in the development stages what do you expect" No it's it the consumers hands and that stuff should have been worked out. Still think Bluetooth has some growing up to do.
I have a question with the bluetooth, does anyone know if the Flamingo bluetooth headset is compatible with the Q?? I have been doing research on that headset and it seems to have great reviews. If anyone else has ideas on good headsets, let me know please. Thanks!!
Considering that the Cellpoint Flamingo Bluetooth headset was made around last year it should be more than compatible with the Motorola Q. Let us know how you like it!
The Flamingo headset that I got for my Q is awesome! Get audio quality on both ends of the call. No problems with connection. So far so good with the Flamingo. Doesn't even feel likes its in my ear after a while.
