Having swapped out my Q for a new one I am still experiencing the same problem with manual email checking. It works correctly the 1st time of the day but any subsequent attempts to fetch email manually results in a "connection error the line is busy" error message. The phone seems to think it's still in a data session (PDA icon) even though I'm not connected to the 1X network and have done a 'kill-all'. Who do we report bugs to?

The modem is a bit buggy, eh? Have you tried re-setting the phone by popping the battery out and back in? Sometimes helps. As far as reporting, you can try using this contact form.
I know this may be a late reply but I hope someone else is listening...
I have a new Sprint Q and I've experienced a similar problem. I will ba able to access POP mail and internet then...poof!...it gives me a "connection error" or asks me to enter my username and password for my proxy (???). It seems when I installed ActiveSync, it automatically pushed down proxy settings (HTTP and SOCKS). I looked at the programs that were running and they are:
Remote APi Client
TCMD.exe
Apparantly these are needed for ActiveSync when you are connected to the PC. My fix would be killing all tasks and resetting the device...very aggravating. Then I would go to Explorer and, maybe, be able to access internet. Is this the same issue anyone else is having???
