Battery/charge problems.

Just wondering if anyone else was having problems charging their Q. Sometimes it would charge a for a bit and i would get half a battery and lately it hasn't charged at all. Telus replaced it today and all seems to be fine but now the extended one is having the same issues. Is it just me?

I was also having a battery problem when i first got mine. It took me a while to figure out that i was charging it with my bluetooth charger instead of my phone charger. They have the same plug. Thats the only thing i can think of.

figured out

I did figure it out, unfortunately i had to get both of my batteries replaced. The short and the extended life both failed but telus replaced them promptly. Thank you for the welcome and i have to say that this is the first forum i have been actively involved in and i love it. This is by far the best Q site.

Welcome to HelloMotoQ BeatBoy! I believe there are quite a few people with your same problem. If you haven't already done so I recommend checking out our downloads page.

Mine does charge

I find the phone can and will fully charge off a USB port but not if I leave the Blue Tooth on!

same issue

I just bought an extended battery also, and it just keeps charging to no end! is it just my battery or is it normal for it to do that?

Probably a charger problem, are you using the Moto charger or a generic. If generic, try an official moto charger.
