New user with what are probaly simple questions:
If my Q rings and I need to immediately silence it, how do I do it quickly?
How do I lock the keyboard so my Q isn't doing things without my knowledge as it gets knocked around in my purse?!
And this leads to another question: when I take it out of my purse it's often on compose message. And then, I can't figure out how to delete the blank message. I go to Menu/Cancel Compose/Done, but it still shows it on my home screen in the bottom left that I have a composed message waiting to be finished/sent.

Hi wendynh! Welcome to HelloMotoQ forums!

To lock your keyboard, you can press Home and then the space bar. To unlock the keyboard, just press any key and then you'll see 'unlock'. Press 'unlock' and then the '*' which is basically the 'A' key.

And if you're talking about the message icon that I think you're talking about...I believe that's a default icon for messaging.
