I'm on my second Q (first FRU), and it seems to have died in the same manner as the first! It appears that the Action key (silver in the d-pad) has become stuck and super senstive when its not stuck.
Whenever I push the up or down button it instead gives me the action. And I know its not my big thumb because I actually went it pushed the outside of the button with my thumbnail to make sure I wasn't accidentally hitting the action button. Whenever I brush (i.e. just touching the button, not pressing it) the action button it gives me the action.
I've performed a master reset as a just in case and it still does it.
Now, I can't even get the phone to work since whenever I turn it on it asks me if I want to do a master reset and it won't listen when I push the "No" softkey.
I need this phone to work for the weekend (going to be out of the house helping friends and will need to talk to them) so I can't wait for Verizon to send me another FRU. I got a meeting at work in a couple minutes here and after later this morning I'll be calling Verizon if I can't get any help here.
