The Q makes a very good starter smartphone.It cost much less than many others and makes it much easier for those out there who cannot afford one or doesn't know much about pocket pc's / smartphones.It offers a lot of bang for the buck.
What ptmowery did was provide his opinion on another phone in regards to other smartphone/Q usersAnd he is a member here because he has owned a Q.Even if he does persuede (spell) some users to get some other phone,it doesn't mean that HMQ will go dead.There will always be Q users.There is no rule on HelloMotoQ that says one cannot talk about another phone.It's just that (as noted above) this site is aimed at Moto Q users.HMQ doesn't make a profit off it's users nor are they even affiliated with Motorola.What the site does make from ads is to pay for server costs / usage.
