i got the motorola q, original.. and it won't charge. it shows it's connected but the battery life does not increase. to charge the phone, i have to put it in another motorola phone (the batteries are compatible) and charge it that way, which is a pain in tha butt since the other motorola is my moms. I only have to use this phone for the week and hopefully my q9c comes in.. and ideas on whats wrong with it?
I've thought that too, but the weird thing is it shows its connected, so it has to be working.. and when I turn the phone off the screen that it's charging comes up but the longer it sits, the phone battery drains.. so I charge it for a little while and check back, it's dead.. I'm getting a new one next week and sending this one in for an exchange, I was just wonderin what the problem could be.. maybe it's something with the inside part of the charger
Are you using the same charger on the Q9C? If not then there is probably something wrong with that charger. Try a car charger if you have one. If that still don't work, then either there is a bad pin in the usb port (could allow status indicators but the bad pin could be where the input voltage goes) or there is something screwed up on that phone. I can't say what. Those Q's can be unpredictable. I have seen so many weird problems with them.
